This tour will take place in Silves. Join us and explore the ancient capital of the Arab Kingdom in Algarve. On this route you will have the opportunity to visit the historical center of Silves as well the Castle. You will also visit two  Family Wines Estate and taste their fine and elegant  wines. Discover  the organic wine production in Algarve

    Silves

    Guided Tour

    Visit to Silves, a charming fortified city that once was the ancient capital of the Arab Kingdom. Today Silves has a calm and peaceful ambiance, but during the Moorish occupation, it was a great defensive fortress and important trading town. The remains of this illustrious past can be seen while exploring Silves, from the immense red brick castle, the impregnable walls of the city, to the gothic cathedral that was built on the site of a great mosque and also the archaeological museum.

    Quinta do Francês

    Guided tour and Wine Tasting

    Quinta do Francês is a Family Estate, with 8 hectares of vineyard, nested in the hills of Silves, on the Odelouca River Valley, in the southeast region of Portugal, the Algarve. Upon your arrival at Quinta do Francês you can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding hills and all the vineyard. It is even said by some visitors that it looks like a small Douro Valley.
    You then enter in the wine shop & tasting room, where you can purchase wines and also regional products.
    Then you can enjoy a guided tour to the  winery and cellar, and ended with taste of three wines.

    Typical lunch

    Experience the traditional Portuguese gastronomy in one of the local Restaurants, accompanied by the region’s wines.

    Quinta Rosa

    Visita e Prova de Vinhos

    Discover and taste the Organic Wines produced at Quinta Rosa, are currently the first producers of the region with the European certification of organic wines. You also have the opportunity to be welcomed by the owners who will take you on a guided tour around the farm. Enjoy uthe organic wines tasting with a delicious Tapas.

  • Bookings can be made up to 48 preferably, subject to availability. Fill in the contact form with the required information (name, route selected, desired date and other relevant information). After we confirming your reservation, you must proceed with the payment of the selected route. 
  • Mín. 2 pax, max. 6 pax.
  • Includes: tickets for all places to be visited, wine tasting, food tasting, lunch, bottled water.
  • Private transport made in vehicles of 5 and 9 seats, according to the number of occupants. Pick up from Vilamoura, Albufeira, Salgados , Carvoeiro, Praia da Rocha, Alvor and Lagos. For others locations please contact us!

Covid Measures: Kit offer with mask and disinfectant gel for each participant. Mandatory use of the mask during all transport. In the remaining places to visit, the applied measures are the responsibility of the partners

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations after 24 hours within 24 hours, a 15% service fee will be charged, the rest being refunded.
  • For cancellations within less than 24 hours there will be no refund.
  • If there is any extraordinary situation in which it is necessary to cancel the tour, Algarve Views at that point will suggest a new appointment or the ticket price will be refunded.
